Discover content and create custom feeds
Discover is newsence’s public reading entry point. It turns content from different platforms into consistent reading cards while preserving the original source, publication time, and source link.
Search content
Section titled “Search content”Use the search field at the top of the desktop page or open the search panel on mobile. Search results still respect the currently selected feed, format, and source filters.
Recent search terms stay only in the current browser so you can reuse them. You can clear this history at any time.
Browse by content format
Section titled “Browse by content format”The scope menu provides these views:

After selecting a format, the interface shows the available source filters. You can enable more than one source at a time.
Create a custom feed
Section titled “Create a custom feed”After signing in, choose New feed from the scope menu. A feed can include:
- a name and description;
- RSS, Twitter, or YouTube sources from the catalog newsence currently monitors;
- up to 20 keywords.
You can select sources, define keywords, or combine both.
Custom feeds are not arbitrary RSS subscriptions. You can only choose sources that newsence already monitors and has enabled; you cannot paste a new RSS address or social account during feed creation. You can still save an individual page that is not in the catalog with Add resource inside a Workspace.
The Free plan supports one custom feed. The Pro plan has no custom-feed limit. Built-in feeds are available to browse but cannot be edited.
Read different content types
Section titled “Read different content types”The resource page adapts to the source:
- General articles show a summary, full text, related content, and a source link.
- YouTube pages show the video, chapters, key clips, and a transcript when available.
- X/Twitter pages show post text, images, and video.
- Academic content shows authors, a PDF, citation counts, and references.
Some full text requires sign-in. When newsence cannot acquire a source, use Open original to return to its website.
Turn discovery into research
Section titled “Turn discovery into research”Select one or more items in a feed and they appear in the context row above the AI input. You can then summarize or compare them, or ask AI to create a research document.
Save content to your personal library or a Collection when you want to keep it long term. Add it directly to a Workspace when it belongs only to a specific project. See Saves, Collections, and Workspaces for the differences.
